The North Russell Project is situated in the Wollaston Trend, the most prospective geological domain within the Athabasca Basin for high grade uranium deposits. This trend hosts all of the current uranium mine and mill complexes in the Athabasca Basin. The claim totals 13,526 hectares (33,423 acres) and is situated approximately 15 kilometres northeast of the historic Key Lake Mine.
